Fred Harlow - Director

I have 2 key roles within Business Live – Operations and Finance. On the operations side of things, I am responsible for the smooth running of all Business Live events, from planning to execution. On the financial front, I look after the Company’s finances.

I have over 30 years experience in the management of leisure and entertainment businesses.

During a long career with First Leisure Corporation plc, I held a large range of management and executive positions in a large variety of different brands. These include fitness, snooker, tenpin bowling, hotels, restaurants, bars, conference centres, theatres, leisure centres, ice rinks, holiday parks and large visitor attractions.

I was at the forefront of the significant development of tenpin bowling in the early nineties and ended my corporate career returning as Divisional Managing Director responsible for this product.

I joined forces with my business partner, Mark Henderson, to launch our own business and Bistro LIVE in Leicester opened in November 2001. We have developed this live entertainment restaurant brand with additional venues in Nottingham and Milton Keynes and aim to continue this further.

In 2008 we acquired Henderson Management, a live music and entertainment agency, and are working to build this business into a significant profit centre.
